Tomorrow morning, I am leaving early to head to Tulsa, OK for the National Letterwinners Conference. As some of you may know, I am the past president of the Iowa State Letterwinners Club. Once a year, the leaders of Letterwinner clubs from schools all across the country gather at a conference to compare notes on what is going on in their individual clubs, have great fellowship, and most importantly, have a great time. This year the conference is being held at Tulsa University. This will be the third conference I have been to and I have developed some great friendships. It will be a blast.
Next week, I will be spending the week in Chicago visiting two different packing plants for my work. To finish off my week, I will be moving all my stuff to a new duplex. I am going to be moving to Ames. Needless to say, I will be very busy and will not have much access to a computer during that time and will not have much time to put into writing any blogs. Therefore, my next blog will not be until after the 4th of July.
I am going to take advantage of the time to gathering some more material to write about by reading some personal development materials. I will also be reflecting upon some of the material I have blogged about so far and thinking about some things to talk about after the holiday.
I would like to encourage my loyal readers to think about some things you would like to have me discuss in my blogs. Broad topics are fine. Things that you think would benefit us all. I hope you will respond with ideas. I am doing this blog to help all of you and while I can create topics of my own to discuss, I would prefer to cover topics that you want discussed. I hope everyone has a great couple of weeks and I look forward to hearing back from you and blogging again soon.
